Before jumping into another expensive royal commission, it would have been prudent for Scott Morrison to review the numerous inquiries that both LNP and ALP governments have initiated over the past decade. Surely the government didn’t need Four Corners to inform them that the aged care sector is a national disgrace.

Cost of the Royal commission could be injected into aged care. Place ratios on staff: residents. Ensure training is aduquate. This would all directly benefit residents in care now! Meanwhile we have agency’s receiving complaints and task forces costing money that is non effective. How many more have to suffer before action is taken 😢 many more good nurses will just leave industry befor the outcomes and actions commence.
